Never a JW, I lost control when the "Elder" gave me the book on Families to see how I would react.

I am totally outright speechless if these are drawings in a children's book. I have no clue what to say about the amount of damage this could cause to a little child. I have viewed my outsiders opinion many times on Sophia and Caleb videos, the meeting agendas and many other JW abusive practices BUT this is OUT OF CONTROL!!!!

My advise to you make positively sure that your attorney has viewed this BOOK, some of these cartoons and the videos from this past RC when it comes to your custody hearing for your daughter. If nothing else if I were you I would insist that my daughter NOT, NOT in no way be subjected to this cruel cult oops religion! !!

You hit the nail on the head with one word "trust". Never a JW but the victim of both childhood and spouse abuse I find it extremely hard to "trust" people. It takes me a long time before I will finally actually say I trust someone.

Never a JW. Not knowing any of the rules at the time. I just sent the "Elder " an email. Subject line read: Roasted Toasted Deep Fried and BBQ then the first line of the email said I have the address of 3 local KH either answer all these questions or I am headed to one of them, I will have an Elder explain all your emails and you to me.

That was my shepherding call sorta.

"in it, the religious group states that "rejecting homosexuality" is completely different to "rejecting people of a different skin colour" and says their views are the same as people who "view smoking as harmful and even repugnant".it also compares gay people to animals, but says "unlike animals, they can choose not to act on their impulses".the journal was contacted by a reader, who wishes to remain anonymous, who felt "belittled" by the leaflet.

Reading The Bible Again After Leaving

im pretty much an open book, but my critical mind is very alert to bullshit.

but anyway i decided to re-read the bible with a non jw filter.. i researched online first which is supposed to be the best translation out there.

So then all these Religions and the Bible and other Holy books are created by MEN correct and not inspired by God as they would like you to believe?

BTW, never a JW, just gave up on religion after catching far to many an Elder and minister in affairs and lying.

For the record I believe in a loving and caring God, not in the Bible and I am very spiritual.

Can’t cope with being disfellowshipped…..Need some advice

this site is great, i have been lurking for a while now.

but i can’t get reinstated and have used some of the advice already given.. i was df’d many months ago and go to all the meetings and do all the preparation for the meetings, but the jc committee keep refusing me.

tomorrow at the clam meeting i am puting yet another letter in and will be called for another dreadful jc meeting.. 1. what can i say to the elders to show that i am truly repentant?.

There are many churches that treat women and children like human beings. Some people believe there is a loving and caring God. Not everyone has to give up on God like you.

You could show a little tiny bit of respect for other people's beliefs occasionally especially when they show up on the forum hurting.

That is absolutely beautiful. As a believer of a loving God but not Religion nor the Bible, I worship God through music and the opportunities for magnificent Christian music is never ending. There are some amazing voices and talented musicians.

How shameful the Watchtower kills this creativity in their youngsters.

do you remember that my dad passed away last year and i was going back to the witnesses after 26 years?

i got reinstated after going there for 9 months.

in the 5 months since then i felt the men in the congregation didn't want me there.
